Webb County VINELink Coverage

Texas county custody uses VINELink through Texas Statewide VINE. Webb County’s own government navigation links VINE, which gives the service a local official discovery route. A matching record can show custody status, location, and event information supplied by a participating agency.

Coverage has firm boundaries. County VINE can report Webb County Jail events. It is not the BOP locator, the ICE Online Detainee Locator, or the TDCJ prison and parole notification system. Release from Webb County custody may be followed at once by transfer to one of those systems.

Webb VINE Ninety-Day Limit

Texas guidance documents that a county-jail record can age out of VINE 90 days after release. Webb County links the statewide service but does not provide a separate county-branded SAVIN portal or local VINE instruction sheet. This makes VINELink best for recent notice and confirmation, not permanent history.

An older released person may therefore have no searchable result. Other causes include spelling differences, the wrong jurisdiction, transfer, nonparticipation, and data lag. Webb County Identity Matching

A Texas state prisoner belongs in the TDCJ search and IVSS notification system. A federal prisoner may appear through BOP after designation, while a pretrial USMS detainee may not.
